Bio-Sol Granulosis

Bio-Sol Granulose is a Granulosis Virus (GV) based powder formulation containing 1X 10⁹ GV capsules per gram of the product.

Mode of action

Bio-Sol Granulose when ingested along with the food enter the gut where it initially infects the mid gut cells. After primary multiplication in the gut cells the virus then invades into various parts of insect's body and infects tissues like fat body and organ systems where in, secondary multiplication takes place leading to the disruption of the life cycle of the affected insects.

Pest Controlled

It is capable of controlling the storage pest like Meal Moths and early shoot borer in sugarcane. In the pest, GV exhibits a pathogenic activity similar to that of NPV.

Dosage

To Control pest in stored product such as Almond, raisins, currants, dried prunes, dried dates, dried figs, and other dried fruits:	Dust 1 kg of Bio-Sol Granulose onto 1000 kg of stored products before packing.
Treating walls and floor in storage	1kg of Bio-Sol Granulose + 500 ml of Bio-Sol Aza in 100 litres of water to be sprayed in 225 square meter area 2 days prior to storage of the materials.

For controlling sugarcane borer

Bio-Sol Granulose for Foliar spray/hectare :
Suspend 1250 gm of Bio-Sol Granulose and 1250 gm of Bio-Sol Beaveria + 600 ml of Bio-Sol Aza in 100 lits of water and spray the it onto the foliage

Bio-Sol Granulose for Cane set Treatment:
Suspend 2.5 kg of Bio-Sol Granulose in 250 litres of water and then soak the cane sets required for 1 hectare for 2 hrs. before sowing.
