GREASE
Specifically developed microbial formula for the management of grease traps and kitchen drain lines
Maintenance of lines, traps and drains to control organic deposits (grease, fats, oils etc.) and odour is an issue that must be dealt with daily by waste management personnel.
Standard procedures may require the jetting or the use of harsh chemicals such as caustics, strong acids or solvents to clear clogged lines. While successful, these techniques are costly, can be hazardous to operators and may result in damage to lines and pumping systems. The use of chemical degreasers has also been found to be a major source of groundwater contamination when used in systems where exfiltration can occur.
The solution to these problems is based on system augmentation using BIO-SOL GREASE formulations which are specifically developed for application within trap and drain systems. The BIO-SOL GREASE contains microbes specifically selected for their ability to degrade grease, fats and oils and other organic materials at an accelerated rate.
When the BIO-SOL GREASE cultures are applied to traps and drains, the cultures liquefy, digest and breakdown organics deposits in fouled lines. Regular applications keep the lines free of organic deposits, and dramatically reduce or eliminate related odours and line corrosion. Reductions in BOD, COD, TSS and fat, grease and oil levels at the discharge point are also achieved with the programmed addition of BIO-SOL GREASE formulations.
Microbial augmentation to trap and drain systems offers a safe, non-toxic preventive
maintenance program that will ensure system integrity, continuous flow, and the reduction of man hours and associated costs.
Bioaugmentation using the BIO-SOL GREASE cultures is unique when compared to chemical alternatives. Microbes, when applied to the collection system, multiply within the system establishing massive colonies that degrade organic deposit problems. Chemicals, on the other hand, simply change the wastes state. Possibly by liquifying and shifting the problem downstream from the application point and creating a potentially similar problem if they re-coagulate.
BIO-SOL GREASE augmentation of collection systems offers in most instances a cost effective, non-toxic and simple preventative maintenance program.
BIO-SOL GREASE is a natural, biological treatment-system, designed for the food service industry, to digest the grease, fats and organic wastes that accumulate in grease traps and drain lines.
BIO-SOL GREASE is a live, synergistic blend of all natural, Class I bacteria specifically chosen for their accelerated ability to metabolise greases, fats, proteins, lipids and detergents into carbon dioxide and water.
BIO-SOL GREASE reduces maintenance of the grease trap and reduces the necessity to pump by much as 80%. BIO-SOL GREASE will also eliminate the foul odours associated with the build-up of organic wastes, especially the rotten egg odours of Hydrogen Sulphide.
BIO-SOL GREASE is produced from natural materials not dangerous to children or animals and is non-toxic. It is specially formulated for the treatment of organic waste and is non-corrosive, therefore harmless to plumbing.
