Bio-Sol Verti
Bio-Sol Verti is a talc based, myco-pesticide, which contains conidia of Verticillium lecanii (1 x 108 cfu’s per gram), a naturally occurring entomopathogenic fungus.
Mode of action:
When the conidia of Verticillium lecanii comes in contact with the insect pests the spores will germinate and penetrate through the cuticle. The pest becomes inactive by starvation which then causes about 40-50% mortality within four to five days, and about 95% mortality in 11 to 12 days time.
Crops
Ornamentals and Vegetables in greenhouses; nurseries, lawns; landscape perimeters. Vegetables in field crops and other agricultural crops.

Application Methods
Spray Method
Bio-Sol Verti should be sprayed on foliage of plants using hand, ground, or aerial spray equipment .
It is advisable to provide a good coverage on the undersides of the leaves.
A good spraying technique is required; a sufficient amount of water and a sufficiently high pressure are also crucial.
Applications should be repeated at least once every 15-20 days for four time. If insect pressure is high, the label recommends continued weekly applications.
For greenhouse pest problems, applications in every 10-15 days are recommended.
Again, the number of applications should be decided based on pest population level.
Foliar spray: 2.5 kg /hectare in 500 liters of water i.e.5 gm per liter of water. Thespray volume depends on the crop canopy. High volume sprays ensuring good coverage of
the foliage is recommended.
Drip system : 5 gm / litre of water. The resultant solution should be filtered before injecting into the drip system.
Preparation of spray solution:
Suspend 2.5 kg of Bio-Sol Verti in 500 litres of water. Stir well and apply through low pressure nozzles such as fan nozzles or watering systems after filtering with filters.
